Our Story

As the eldest sibling, I’ve always taken a proactive role in helping my younger brothers with their schoolwork — from breaking down tough topics to finding tools that actually help.

One day, while home celebrating my youngest brother’s birthday, my two younger brothers and I realised something: we were all using the paid version of ChatGPT. We talked about how we use it, where it helps, and where it sometimes doesn’t.

ChatGPT is a tool, and like any other tool, how you use it really matters. It can be helpful, but it can also do more harm than good. I’ve personally experienced how ChatGPT has impacted my studies, and on both the good and the bad days I can confirm it has a big effect.

That’s where I got the idea for developing an AI-driven platform to enhance the study experience for students like me and my younger siblings — one that harnesses the strengths of AI while mitigating its risks.

I originally built Studieven with the intention of creating something just for me and my brothers. Then I shared it with a few friends, and they quickly found it useful too, especially for exam preparation. At SDU, where many engineering courses have MCQ-style exams, they particularly liked being able to practise visually rather than just through chat-based text.

So now, I’m putting it out there for everyone, hoping it can help others just as much.

I truly hope it can help you too, whether you’re trying to get more organised, save time, feel a little less overwhelmed, or simply have a little more fun preparing for your exams.

Don’t just study — study smarter with Studieven.
